SecureState CEO Ken Stasiak Talks Security Challenges in Energy Industry
April 23, 2015
CLEVELAND, OH - It’s old and decaying, and not getting any better. It’s what you’d expect someone to say about that decade-old SUV you have parked in the driveway. Definitely not how you want America’s power grid described, given its importance to the country’s critical infrastructure.
“Out of every developed nation in the world, the United States has the most black outs and the most outages,” said SecureState CEO Ken Stasiak.
In this month’s video, Stasiak breaks down why the energy industry, specifically the electricity-making utilities, is slow to respond to much-needed changes in the smart grid, as well as revealing if they have enough resources to remain compliant with government regulations.
