Cleveland-area High School Students to Compete in SecureState’s 2nd Annual Capture the Flag Competition

CLEVELAND, OH - High school computer whiz kids to show off their hacking skills – legally— going head-to-head with some of the smartest young minds in Northeast Ohio. Teams will work to solve challenges from six different information security topics. Top three finishing teams given scholarship money from SecureState.
What: SecureState’s 2015 Capture The Flag Contest
When: April 11, 2015, from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Where: The University of Mount Union, Alliance, Ohio
Who: Open to all high school students in grades 9-12. Teams will consist of at least two students, with a maximum of four per team. Each school’s team must have at least one adult representative (parent or teacher). Event is FREE to all registered teams!
Why: The cyber and information security industry is one of the fastest growing in terms of job growth, but many students are not aware that a career in this field is an option.
