What is a Network Architecture Review?
A network architecture review is a detailed analysis of current network architecture. It is performed to identify vulnerabilities related to insecure configurations and implementations of networked devices.
Why do it?
Just like the floor plans for a house, the architecture is the most important element to having a secure network. Many organizations today implement network devices based on business urgency rather than security. A secure architecture provides better network segmentation, access controls, logging and monitoring, and ensures that the organization is conforming to security best practices with regards to a secure architecture.
How can we help?
SecureState's consultants can review the architecture of your organization’s network to determine the areas where you are lacking in security, as well as help to design a new, more secure architecture. The steps we take include: Gather Documentation / Network Topology Interview System Owners Review Configurations as needed / Document Enhancements / Deficiencies.
