What is  Internal Attack and Penetration Testing?

An internal attack and penetration security assessment simulates an internal attacker, such as a malicious contractor or disgruntled employee, attempting to compromise an organization’s assets.

Why do it?

Internal security mechanisms are typically less restrictive than externally facing networks. Security is often not a major concern internally, which can be disastrous. More often, soft or weak hosts are targeted to gain access to information. In addition, several laws and regulations including PCI DSS require internal attack and penetration testing assessments.

How can we help?

SecureState has an expert team of ethical hackers with the knowledge and expertise to identify internal vulnerabilities. Our team includes former government agents, big X consultants, and former military intelligence. SecureState will identify and offer mitigation advice for vulnerabilities.
