Electronic Security Systems Administration
Electronic Security Systems refer to a variety of systems that help
provide access control to facilities in accordance with several standards;
such as DCID 6/9, Access Control, CCTV, Biometrics, badges, intrusion
detection systems, PAC, and communications equipment. Whether these systems
are developed by LENEL or HIRSCH, they provide the first line of defense
when it comes to the detection and prevention of unauthorized access to
facilities and cleared areas within facilities. It is important to have
strong individuals support the administration of these systems.
SecureState’s team can assist with several aspects of Electronic Security
Systems Administration, including:
- Management and Repair
ESSA helps to ensure that the systems that are installed to detect and
help prevent unauthorized access stay functioning to their highest possible
level. Without proper administration, these systems may fail and cause
catastrophic results including damage, loss of property, or loss of life.
SecureState has been providing ESSA within the Federal and Commercial
Sectors since 2001. Out team of experienced Staff Members have been
providing ESSA services to NASA Glenn Research Center and have served in a
key role for the organization. SecureState was the focal point in the
transition from Hirsch (Velocity) to Lenel; and our primary role was
programming the systems and providing expertise in hardware installation and
wiring which greatly reduced the necessary troubleshooting when planning the
transitions within each building. SecureState’s expertise and ability to
provide Master Certified Lenel Experts allowed GRC to meet the deadlines
that were mandated.
