Web Designer/Developer

SecureState has an opening in our Marketing Department for a Web Developer / Graphic Designer.. This position will be responsible for developing and managing our corporate website, as well as various graphic design projects. The ideal candidate must be able to:

Web Designer/Developer

  • Administer SharePoint-based CMS online tools.
  • Manage, post and edit content contributed by others, identifying and prioritizing content to be revised.
  • Assist in the execution of new online initiatives incorporating audio, video and other new media types such as RSS feeds, Facebook and other delivery mechanisms.
  • Complete analysis of website performance
  • Understand SEO concepts, execute and manage the SEO campaign.
  • Manage technical integration and upgrades.
  • Moderate / advanced skills working with HTML.
  • Experience working with Java Script.

Graphic Designer

  • Manage creative design projects from inception to completion in both electronic and print media
  • Work in PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Work cross functionally with various business areas within the organization to ensure strategic goals of the company are being accomplished
  • Function independently and in a team environment

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a SharePoint-based site
  • At least 3 years of graphic design experience
  • Thorough knowledge of HTML, CSS, MySQL
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, Google AdWords.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and creating/editing images for the Web
  • Highly proficient with Illustrator
  • Ability to acquire new knowledge quickly and work autonomously
  • Strong interest and knowledge in research and discovering new online marketing tools and ideas that can be utilized to improve online marketing
