Risk Management Manager

SecureState is actively seeking an Risk Management Manager to expand, grow, and manage the Risk Management practice at SecureState. SecureState’s Risk Management team assists clients with building their security program and fixing security problems identified in their environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of highly technical consultants.
  • Assist with technical projects when team workload requires it.
  • Mentor and train team members.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to assist the sales process.
  • Communicate recommendations to clients in verbal and written format.
  • Plan and manage the implementation of large and complex projects.
  • Act as a liaison between the technical and business aspects of Risk Management engagements.
  • Identify client business needs to implement Risk Management solutions.
  • Ensure Risk Management delivers projects on time and on budget while meeting SecureState’s stringent quality requirements.
  • Grow Risk Management service offerings and improve current service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in business, information systems management, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience in information security including auditing, risk management, and security controls with 1-2 years focused on managing technical resources.
  • Proven ability to work with a sales department to drive sales.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to communicate with all levels in an organization from technical resources to executives.
  • Must have the ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong judgment and analytical ability.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, management, staff members, vendors, and consultants.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

    NOTE:

    All SecureState employees are expected to pass a professional background investigation prior to hire. Upon hire, all employees may be subject to a Department of Defense background investigation for government clearance and should anticipate the ability to pass as well.
