Account Executive

SecureState is actively seeking an Account Executive to work with a Territory Director on new business development in their territory.

Responsibilities:

  • To assist the assigned Territory Director to make SecureState the premier security consulting provider in territory.
  • Create, qualify, and assist with developing sales opportunities through cold calling, account strategy, proposal generation and client relations.
  • Increase pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns.
  • Work in conjunction with consultants and sales teams to develop strategies, solutions, etc.
  • Develop and maintain competitive knowledge on industries and products to leverage in sales cycle.
  • Consistent performance against quotas, goals and targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or BA; Degree in Computer Science/Business/Accounting/Finance. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Consultative technical sales experience a plus.
  • Experience in developing new clients and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Security products and technologies, competitors, industry trends.
  • Proven ability to manage sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Eager to work in fast-paced environment with high internal and client expectations.
  • Strong judgment and analytical ability.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, management, staff members, vendors, and consultants.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. SecureState is unable to sponsor at this time

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft CRM 4.0.
  • Sales process training certifications.
    NOTE:

    All SecureState employees are expected to pass a professional background investigation prior to hire. Upon hire, all employees may be subject to a Department of Defense background investigation for government clearance and should anticipate the ability to pass as well.
