SecureState is actively seeking a Web Application Security Specialist to perform vulnerability assessments or applications to test for secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

Perform in-depth assessments against web applications to detect vulnerabilities
Stay up-to-date on current application vulnerabilities
Write technical reports based on findings
Possible code reviews

Required Qualifications:

Web development background is ideal
Experience with using a web proxy
Experience with tools like WebInspect or AppScan
Familiarity with OWASP framework
Must be authorized to work in the U.S

Desired Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
Willingness and experience working in a fast pace environment

NOTE:

All SecureState employees are expected to pass a professional background investigation prior to hire. Upon hire, all employees may be subject to a Department of Defense background investigation for government clearance and should anticipate the ability to pass as well.
