TG-3

As part of ANSI/X9, the TG-3 audit entails mapping out the processes, policies, and procedures for an organization as they handle the keys used for encrypting ATM and Point Of Sale PIN's being processed across their network and being sent to other networks. This includes physical and logical controls for all devices that process the PIN and all devices that store or transmit the encryption keys. The standard is enforced by those that manage the electronic funds transfers, including NYCE, First Data and Pulse.
